Sarah Leyman, DVM

Dr. Leyman grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio before receiving her undergraduate degree in biology from Amherst College in Massachusetts. She then attended veterinary school at The Ohio State University. After graduating, she completed a rotating small animal specialty internship at Garden State Veterinary Specialists in Tinton Falls, New Jersey. She practiced for an additional year in New Jersey before she and her husband moved to Colorado. Her professional interests include preventive care, surgery, ophthalmology, and exotic pet medicine.

Dr. Leyman and her husband have three cats- PBJ, Sookie, and Flea, a beagle mix named Moose, and 11 chickens. In their free time, she and her husband love to travel, tend to their vegetable garden, and spend time outside hiking, biking, camping, and skiing.
